Trump’s Holiday Greetings: A Year of Peace and Merchandise

This Christmas, President-elect Donald Trump took a step back from his usual fiery posts and shared a more peaceful holiday message with his followers. On Wednesday, Trump simply wrote, “MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!” on Truth Social, spreading a straightforward and festive cheer.

But that wasn’t all. Trump also shared a throwback photo from 2018, featuring him and Melania in their official Christmas portrait. The photo quickly made its way back into the spotlight, symbolizing a calmer, more reflective message than what we’ve seen in the past.

In contrast, President Joe Biden also sent his Christmas wishes with a message centered around “dignity and decency.” Biden’s post on X, which acknowledged his final Christmas as president, included a hopeful message for the nation, emphasizing love, kindness, and liberty.

While the holiday greetings from both leaders were cordial, Trump wasn’t just about messages this year. The Trump family is also embracing the holiday spirit with their very own Trump Store, offering quirky Christmas items like teddy bears in Trump sweaters, MAGA hat ornaments, and Trump-branded gold wrapping paper. Talk about decking the halls with a bit of political flair!

It’s a noticeable change from last year, when Trump’s Christmas message was filled with strong political critiques and fiery language aimed at his rivals. This year, however, it seems he’s choosing a more peaceful path for his holiday greetings—maybe the perfect way to wrap up a busy year.
