Donald Trump’s holiday greetings came with a sharp edge this year, targeting everyone from clemency recipients to global politics.
On Truth Social, Trump slammed President Biden’s recent decision to commute the sentences of 37 death-row inmates. These individuals, including child killers and mass murderers, were granted life in prison without parole. Trump was anything but forgiving: “To the 37 most violent criminals… I refuse to say Merry Christmas. Instead, GO TO HELL!”
Trump also took aim at international affairs, calling out China for its “illegal” operation of the Panama Canal. He even pitched Canada as a potential 51st state, promising lower taxes, business growth, and unmatched military protection. “Governor Justin Trudeau’s taxes are too high,” he quipped, “but Canada would thrive under the U.S.!”
Greenland didn’t escape his radar either. Trump reiterated its strategic importance, hinting that U.S. involvement there could be a game-changer.
The president-elect didn’t forget his usual political rivals, wishing a fiery “Merry Christmas” to the “Radical Left Lunatics” while criticizing their ongoing attempts to derail his political future.
In true Trump fashion, he ended on an optimistic note: “We had the Greatest Election in history! A bright light shines over the U.S.A. In 26 days, we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. Merry Christmas!”
Love him or hate him, Trump’s Christmas message certainly got people talking.
