Texas AG Secures Victory for Trump Over Border Wall Materials

In a recent court hearing, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton celebrated a major win for President-elect Donald Trump. The federal judge ruled that the Biden administration is not allowed to dispose of any border wall materials over the next month, giving Trump the green light to use them as he wishes.

This legal battle started when Paxton raised concerns about the Biden administration selling off sections of the border wall. Paxton filed a motion to stop the sale, calling it an illegal move by the federal government. He argued that these materials should be used to continue building the wall, not sold off.

The court’s decision not only blocks the sale but also requires the Biden administration to provide proof that it hasn’t violated a previous court order Paxton secured in May. This order mandated that the federal government continue spending funds on border wall construction after they tried to reroute the money elsewhere.

In a statement, Paxton expressed his satisfaction with the ruling, saying, “We’ve successfully blocked the Biden Administration from getting rid of any more border wall materials before President Trump takes office.”

This decision marks a significant step in Paxton’s ongoing efforts to ensure the border wall project continues and that the materials aren’t sold off in the meantime.
