Politically Speaking – November 8, 2022

Biden said last week we can’t take democracy for granted any more. NO, SIR, WE CAN’T.
God willing, the time should soon be over for the highest prices at the gas pump we’ve seen; inflation at its highest point in 40 years plus; oil shortages, with only 25 days in the U.S. energy emergency reserves; the highest grocery prices; a depleted military because of vaccine mandates and military morale at rock bottom; police shortages across the country; rampant crime; school agenda crisis in every area; an open border crisis; horrible foreign relations; a politicized DOJ, FBI and CIA; and of all things, a baby formula shortage crisis!
And yes, there’s more, in my opinion, like the most corrupt government administration in decades, if not ever. It’s unbelievable to me that anyone could have justified voting for anybody that condoned the above to continue!
This midterm election, for me, was a no brainer. But there are those that walk among us defending people like Pritzker and Biden, along with the rest of the progressive woke individuals that have had, in my opinion, an intentional plan for destroying our way of life as well the well being of our children and our children’s children. If I seem angry, I am!
On this midterm election we have come to a fork in the road in the future of our country. One road leads back to the ability to preserve the great American dream, and the other road leads the rest of the way to complete destruction.
Our papers hit the mail on Wednesday, November 9, one day after the elections — all 18,100 of them, and the other 1,900 in the stands. So unless you read our papers online, which go up on Monday afternoon, by the time you read this all the shouting will be over, in one way or the other.
On Tuesday, Nov. 8 we each had to choose a path. Whichever way, it will affect generations to come and whether America will remain the home of the free and the brave, or the home of progressives, woke and self-serving individuals that don’t have a clue and could care less.
I will share with each reader that I did everything I could by doing my part to go back to the great American dream. I suspect if we don’t already know, we will soon enough!
The bottom line is Biden was right when he said we can’t take democracy for granted anymore! He made sure of that!
Vote against everything he stands for as well as those that stand with him.
In closing, Barack Obama said while speaking on the stump last week, “Democracy may not seem important right now, but it is!”
No, Barack, half of us get it and we understand that we have the right to not agree with you and your cronies, even though you think because we don’t agree with you, we don’t believe in democracy. You see, to disagree with you and the current un-American politicians is our right, and that, sir, is democracy in action! We don’t believe your big lie!
May God bless America, whichever way it goes.
Until next week.
