To start this week’s column I have to share a thought from Ludwig. Ludwig asked, “Do you suppose the Biden Administration would have ignored the Chinese spy balloon altogether if it weren’t for the fact that people in Montana have binoculars?” My answer, dear friend, is yes!

They finally shot it down eight days too late. I’m sure the Chinese gathered more information than any sane person would want them to have. So what was found after the balloon was shot down? A spokesperson from the State Department said the Pentagon flew high altitude U-2 spy planes to examine the gear dangling from the 200 foot balloon and found that it had the ability to conduct “signals intelligence collection operations.” They were after secret U.S. communications.

And we waited eight days to shoot them down — eight days too long — again proving, in my opinion, the incompetence of the current administration is treasonous!

On to the second State of the Union given by Joe Biden. Before it even started I had flashbacks of Nancy Pelosi tearing up Trump’s speech behind his back for the whole world to see. What a difference between Kevin McCarthy and Nancy Pelosi.

I won’t miss Nancy Pelosi.

And so the long walk down the aisle began. Keep in mind, 62% of the Democrats don’t want Biden to run in 2024.

Moving on, the evening led to two hours of assault on the Republicans. So much for working together. It was lie after lie and insulting remarks to the general public, taking them for being stupid. Prime example: Inflation is under control, thanks to the Big Guy, when it’s still at a 40-year record high.

No one person could do as much damage as Joe and his cronies have done in the last two years. However, according to Joe, he is the great American savior.

Nothing is further from the truth. Right now China is flexing their muscles, brazen enough to send in a second balloon (it was probably them) after the first one was shot down.

Inflation is at a record high.

We’ve gone from energy independence to energy dependence.

There is record high crime and the war on police is at an all time high.

More Americans are living from paycheck to paycheck.

There’s enough fetanyl coming across the border that it could kill everyone in the U.S. and has killed at least 100,000 citizens. Biden took border security that was working and literally destroyed it and has as much as said, “Welcome, illegals.”

Plus there’s more.

Below are a few of Biden’s claims that are NOT true.

Lie: “Some Republicans want Social Security and Medicare cuts.”
Truth: That was the biggest lie of the night. No one has proposed this.

Lie: Inflation has been a global problem because of the pandemic, supply chains, and Putin’s war.
Truth: Inflation was a particular problem because of massive spending by government.

Lie: The Inflation Reduction Act is the most significant investment ever. It’s designed to tackle the climate crisis and lower utility bills.
Truth: Utility bills will be up at least 20% this year, and regulations have only driven up the cost.

Lie: The southern border and illegal immigration are under control and secure.
Truth: Illegal immigration is at a record high and the border is wide open.

Other out and out lies:
• Cashiers at burger joints need to sign non-compete agreements.
• Paul Pelosi was attacked because of election deniers.
• Americans will only need oil for the next ten years or so.

Need I go on? Are you still drinking the Kool-Aid?

And when he talked about the many young folks that died because of fetanyl, how dare him! Make no mistake: It’s his fault!

In his close he said we need to finish the job. To that I agree… without him!
The one question I would ask each of you is, “Are you better off today than you were two years ago? And trust, it’s not

Trump’s fault and it’s not the Republicans’ fault.

Until next week.
