Politically Speaking — December 20, 2022
This week’s column is short and sweet. As many have noticed my pen has slowed down. I’ve had to step back and take a break, finding myself disgusted with both sides of the aisle. I feel that we’ve been on a slippery slope for the last two decades, only to find after that length of time we must get the next elections — especially 2024 — right in order to save this amazing country. It was founded on faith and honesty by the founding fathers who loved America and freedom and were more than willing to pay the price. Sadly, today many of our politicians in Washington are only in it for themselves to garner what they can. Many promise the moon and talk a big story, only to let the American people down.
My Christmas wish this year for you and yours is a very Merry Christmas and that 2023 brings in honesty, faith and commitment to freedom, and that somehow our leaders take a second look at themselves and realize they need to make a different commitment than they have, and realize it’s about the American people, not them.
May God bless and keep you and yours throughout the coming year. Merry Christmas.
