Mt. Vernon lottery ballot position results

Pursuant to statute, the lottery for ballot position for those who simultaneously filed their petitions in the Mt. Vernon City Clerk’s office on November 16, 2020 for the April 6, 2021 Consolidated Election was held on December 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Clerk’s Office. The results are as follows.

For City Council: First on the ballot will be Joe Gliosci; second on the ballot will be Paul Michael (Mike) Young. The remaining candidates will be placed on the ballot in the order they filed.
The listing of all City of Mt. Vernon, Illinois Offices and Candidates in the order that they are to appear on the ballot, to be voted on at the Consolidated Election to be held on April 6, 2021 is as follows.

Mayor: First on the ballot will be John C. Lewis.

City Council: First on the ballot will be Joe Gliosci; second on the ballot will be Paul Michael (Mike) Young; third on the ballot will be Cameron Hunter Carlile.

City Clerk: There is no candidate.

City Treasurer: There is no candidate.
