2020 Marion County mobile home tax bills mailed

The Marion County Treasurer’s Office has announced the mailing of 2020 Mobile Home Tax Bills. A total of 1,980 bills this year are being mailed with a total tax amount of $179,520.18 for Mobile Homes Privilege Taxes this year. The due date is now August 12, 2020 which is one month later than last year.

Due to COVID-19 virus and the extension of the Illinois Stay at Home Order residents entering the Courthouse are recommended to wear a face mask when social distancing is not possible by order of the 4th Judicial District. Remember if making payments at the courthouse you will be subject to temperature check, health screening, personal search, and must obey all Health Department guidelines pertaining to COVID-19 virus. Please notify the Treasurer’s office if you plan to pay Mobile Home taxes at the Courthouse in person due to the Illinois Stay at Home Order.

Please try to make payments through the following methods: Payments can be made by mail, at banks and credit unions or the drop box on the west side of the courthouse. Other payment instructions/methods are listed on the bills. The Treasurer’s Office at the Courthouse is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday.
