Upcoming events at Brehm Memorial Library
The C.E. Brehm Memorial Public Library in Mt. Vernon offers a variety of classes. Below are some of their upcoming events.
Monthly take and make craft kits are available on the first Tuesday of each month. Kits are limited and available on a first come basis. The next kits will be available on Mar. 7.
The Adult Book Club will meet at 10 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month. The upcoming book is Honolulu by Alan Brennert for the March 16 meeting. Copies of the book to be discussed will be available at the circulation desk on the first floor.
A Library Learners Home School Meet Up will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Mar. 21. Learn to utilize library resources for a successful homeschool experience. Meet fellow home educators to share ideas, triumphs, challenges, and concerns.
Awesome Art for Tweens and Teens for ages 11 through 18 will be offered from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Mar. 21. Create your own art! Join the group for coloring and watercolors on the third Tuesday of each month. Materials will be provided. Workshop will be held in the second floor teen Area. Call 618-242-6322 ext. 2 to register.
