Spero Family Services Festival of Trees
Spero Family Services is proud to host their 14th annual Festival of Trees and First Preview Party Gala, held at The Granada Theater in Mt. Vernon. This event features Christmas trees that have been beautifully decorated and donated by local individuals, surrounding businesses and school classrooms — all displayed throughout the entire event.
Join them on November 19 at 5:30 p.m. for the ‘Preview Party Gala’ and bring in the holiday season with music by Kris Loker, food by Adam’s Food Life, and most importantly a live auction of a few of the trees and wreaths. To purchase tickets for Friday’s event visit https://give.classy.org/fot21.
A free public viewing will be held on Saturday, November 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will feature ‘Cookies with Santa’ from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. The 20th is a free public event, however trees will be available for purchase through a silent auction. The highest bidder for each tree will be selected at the end of the festival. All proceeds raised from this event will benefit the mission-based programs at Spero, and the youth and families they serve. Silent auction will end at 6:00 p.m.
Spero is honored to have Crossroads Community Hospital as their 2021 Spero Festival of Trees event sponsor, plus presenting sponsors SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital.
“This is, by far, Spero’s most popular fundraiser, and this year we have over 40 various trees and wreaths! We are not only grateful to the many businesses, kids and individuals who gave of their time and talent to donate a decorated tree, but to everyone who gave their support in attending, donating, or purchasing a tree in the past years. Your support allows this event to grow so we can help even more youth and families in our local communities,” says Joe Bernard, Spero Acting CEO.
