The Rock Family Life Center Breaks Ground In Centralia

Recently, The Rock Church located at 515 Airport Road, Centralia, broke ground on a new addition. The Rock Family Life Center, a 19,000 square foot building, will contain a gym, dining area, kitchen, classrooms, stage, rest rooms and a game room.
The motivation behind this addition was to create a place for kids and teens in the community to enjoy while maintaining a Christian atmosphere.
Administrative pastor Short Sledge will be heading up a national program, Upward Basketball League, a youth based basketball program that will operate in the new gym. Pastor Steve Upchurch expects completion in late spring of 2017.
The Rock Church services are Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., and Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
