Kenny & Lettie Johnson Celebrate 30 Years

Kenny Johnson asked for and received Centralia Buchheit Manager John Hendrickson’s help in a surprise to his wife Lettie. Thirty years ago Kenny first saw his wife while working on a ladder changing ceiling lights at Woolworth’s (now the Buchheit store). In fact, Kenny claims he almost fell off the ladder when he first saw her.
The surprise plan included setting up a ladder with a rose, a special card and a lighted candle for Lettie to “find.” A group of friends were in on the plan and got Lettie to Buchheit’s under false pretenses. Congratulations to Lettie and Kenny Johnson!
