Trevor Lawrence and Marissa Welcome First Child, Daughter Shae Lynn
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, 25, and his wife Marissa Lawrence have joyfully announced the birth of their first child, a daughter named Shae Lynn. The couple shared the news in an Instagram post on Monday, with Trevor posting a heartfelt caption celebrating the arrival of their baby girl:
“Shae Lynn Lawrence. Born 1/4/25 at 4:01 am. 10 pounds 2 oz 🎀🩷. Mommy and daddy love you so much!!! Thank you, Jesus, for our girl!!”
Marissa also shared the news on her Instagram, with both parents expressing their overwhelming joy. In the photos, Trevor is seen wearing a sling following his concussion injury that ended his 2024 NFL season early in December. He was also placed on Injured Reserve and underwent surgery for an AC joint injury in his left shoulder.
Trevor and Marissa’s love story dates back to 2016 when they first met while attending high school in Georgia. They got engaged in 2020 and married the following year on April 10, 2021. In June 2024, they announced they were expecting their first child, sharing the joyful news with followers through a sweet Instagram post.
“A little Lawrence on the way 🤍,” Trevor wrote in the post, featuring him cradling Marissa’s baby bump, with their two dogs also included in the heartwarming photo.
Just a week after the announcement, the couple celebrated with an ice cream-themed gender reveal party, where they shared they were expecting a baby girl. Marissa, 25, captioned the reveal with excitement, saying, “Baby girl 🩷🎀. Mom & Dad can’t wait to meet you!!”
Marissa had previously expressed how much she and Trevor were looking forward to becoming parents, with Trevor’s new role as a “girl dad” mentioned as a source of pride.
