Golden Globes Paycheck: Nikki Glaser’s Jaw-Dropping Hosting Fee!

Comedian Nikki Glaser, who received praise for hosting the 2025 Golden Globes, is reportedly set to host the award ceremony again next year, with a higher paycheck.

Glaser, who was paid just over $400,000 to host the event this year, is expected to see her salary increase significantly in 2026, according to Deadline. She signed a three-year deal to host the Globes last year, and her successful performance during the ceremony has led to strong support for her return.

In an interview with Howard Stern, Glaser hinted at her return and mentioned her upcoming pay raise. “There was a past host who said how much he got paid in his monologue, and I got less than that, but that’s okay,” she said. Glaser likely referred to Jerrod Carmichael, who hosted the 2023 Globes and revealed he was paid $500,000. “I’ll get more next year,” she added. “I feel well paid for what I do. I’m alright.”

A source close to the Globes told Deadline that more money was invested in Glaser and her team than in any previous Golden Globes host. The source added that Glaser was given a larger writing team than usual and that this investment in her as a long-term solo host paid off. “It worked out well for everyone,” the source said.

Representatives for the Golden Globes’ producers, Dick Clark Productions, did not comment on Glaser’s return or her pay raise when contacted.

Glaser’s performance during the ceremony was well-received, especially her opening monologue. The comedian made fun of the audience and the event, calling it “Ozempic’s biggest night” and even poking fun at Sean “Diddy” Combs. Glaser joked that Luca Guadagnino’s movie Challengers was “more sexually charged” than Combs’ credit card. She also joked about the after-party not being as exciting this year, saying, “A Stanley Tucci freak-off just doesn’t have the same ring to it.”

However, Glaser’s Diddy joke sparked some backlash. Ariel Mitchell, an attorney for some of Diddy’s alleged victims, criticized Glaser’s comments, calling them insensitive. Mitchell said, “My clients are never happy to have their trauma made fun of. Ms. Glaser should be ashamed of herself.” She also questioned why the Golden Globes would allow such humor, especially considering the show’s low ratings.
