Woman Arrested After New Year’s Eve Shooting Sends Man to Hospital in Warren County
A woman is in custody at the Warren County Jail following a shooting at a New Year’s Eve party that left a man hospitalized.
According to Clearcreek Police Chief, 28-year-old Olivia Clendenin is accused of shooting a man during a party on December 31. The incident occurred in the early hours of the New Year as guests were gathered to celebrate. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to the hospital immediately after the shooting. Authorities have confirmed that the man is expected to recover from his injuries.
Clendenin was arrested the following day, on January 1, around 11:45 a.m. in Springboro. She is currently being held at the Warren County Jail with a $200,000 cash bond. Clendenin faces an attempted murder charge in connection with the shooting.
The Clearcreek Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
