Tesla CEO Elon Musk quickly addressed the situation on social media, clarifying that the blast was unrelated to the truck’s functionality. Musk further hinted at a potential connection to the New Orleans tragedy, where a rented Ford F-150 Lightning plowed through a Bourbon Street crowd, killing 15 people and injuring dozens.
