Two people were arrested after an accidental shooting at the In & Out drive-thru in Zephyrhills, Florida, on December 27th. The incident took place around 10:55 AM when a car with four people in it drove into the drive-thru lane. As one of the occupants was about to place an order, a firearm from the back seat was unintentionally discharged, hitting the passenger in the front seat.

Jonathan Xavier Rivera, a 20-year-old man, was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and carrying a concealed firearm.
As a result of the incident, the In & Out drive-thru temporarily closed its doors as a safety measure.
