The Bonney Lake Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two suspects, Sean Barrett and Eleta Ainsback, who are believed to be involved in a series of thefts totaling over $72,000. The stolen items primarily consist of Apple watches and Samsung phones, taken from T-Mobile and AT&T stores since October.
Barrett, 46, and Ainsback, 29, are suspected of committing more than 30 thefts in various locations, including stores in Everett, Lynnwood, Bothell, Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Federal Way, Enumclaw, Tacoma, Silverdale, and Chehalis. The duo is being sought for first-degree organized retail theft. The thefts have raised concern, prompting authorities to release surveillance images to the public in an effort to identify the suspects.
In the images, Barrett can be seen wearing distinctive clothing, including casual workout attire such as sweatshirts and a black Vans hat, which he has been photographed wearing in Lacey and Puyallup. In a separate incident in Auburn, he was seen in full camouflage clothing, from shorts to jacket to hat. This unique attire has been helpful in identifying him in several surveillance photos.
Ainsback, known for wearing ripped jeans, was last seen at a Tacoma T-Mobile store dressed in a similar outfit. She often wears slides, and during one incident, she was seen wearing UGG-style boots while committing theft at the Bonney Lake T-Mobile store. Ainsback is also characterized by a large tattoo on the left side of her neck, which could be a distinguishing feature for witnesses.
The Bonney Lake Police are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of Barrett and Ainsback to come forward. The thefts have had a significant impact, and authorities are hoping that the public can provide vital information to help bring these suspects to justice. Those with tips are encouraged to contact local law enforcement immediately.
