At the 2025 Golden Globes on January 5, the EGOT winner wore the same black sequined Gucci dress she had worn two months earlier at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in November 2024.
The dress features a V-neckline and a striped pattern made from sequins across the bodice. The skirt matches the bodice with a similar striped design, giving the gown a sleek and elegant look.
Viola Davis attended the Golden Globes to celebrate receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which she accepted at the Golden Gala on January 3.
At the Golden Globes, Davis made a bold statement by adding a splash of color to her outfit. While her cape had black stripes at the gala in November, this time, the cape and skirt alternated in a rainbow of colors.
She finished her look with custom Swarovski earrings that hung beautifully to her collarbone.
