Josh Radnor on His Wife Jordana Jacobs: ‘Best Decision I Ever Made’ as They Celebrate 1st Anniversary

Josh Radnor and Jordana Jacobs Celebrate First Wedding Anniversary Amid Blizzard Memories

Actor Josh Radnor and his wife, Jordana Jacobs, are celebrating their first wedding anniversary. On Monday, January 6, Radnor, 50, shared two Instagram posts featuring photos from their 2024 wedding, held at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, New York.

In his heartfelt post, the How I Met Your Mother alum reflected on their snowy wedding day, which turned out to be both challenging and unforgettable. Radnor shared that the couple had planned an outdoor ceremony with guests enjoying hot chocolate and hot toddies before heading indoors for dinner and dancing. However, unexpected snowfall transformed their special day.

“Our plan was for light flurries around 5 p.m., but the snow started at 2:30 and didn’t stop,” Radnor wrote. Despite initial concerns, the couple proceeded with their “blizzard wedding.” Radnor praised their photographer and videographer for capturing the surreal moment and thanked their guests for braving the cold. He also credited the venue’s staff for quick adjustments that ensured the day’s success.

Photos showed the couple exchanging vows in the snow, Radnor playing guitar for Jacobs during the reception, and glimpses of the heavy snowfall that trapped guests and staff at the venue overnight.

Radnor expressed gratitude for his wife, writing, “I honestly didn’t know if marriage was for me, but it turned out it was. Asking Jordana to marry me was the best decision I ever made.”

In a follow-up post, Radnor humorously shared a video of his first act as a husband: blow-drying his wife’s feet while she got her hair touched up after the ceremony.

Radnor and Jacobs met at a meditation retreat in February 2022. Radnor revealed that during the retreat, he felt a profound connection, saying a voice told him, “That’s her. That’s your woman.”

The couple announced their engagement during Radnor’s NYC tour in November 2023, where he performed “Brooklyn Girl,” a song inspired by their meeting.

The couple’s unique wedding and enduring love story continue to resonate with fans and followers.
