Jeslyn Gorman Shares Heartfelt Moments with Taylor Swift During Eras Tour: “Chosen Family”

Jeslyn Gorman, one of Taylor Swift’s talented backup singers, recently shared intimate, behind-the-scenes moments from the Eras Tour with her Instagram followers. In a heartfelt post on January 4, 2025, Gorman offered a glimpse into her time on tour, showcasing rare photos of herself, Swift, and the rest of the crew relaxing between performances.

The carousel of photos included some lighthearted moments with Swift, such as a photo of the two lounging in bathing suits and another from a fun night out with their crew. Gorman captioned the post with reflections on the lessons she learned throughout 2024, particularly emphasizing joy, grace, and the importance of not sweating the small stuff.

“Some things I’ve learned in 2024,” Gorman wrote. “Joy is medicine. Grace is a beautiful gift that we don’t give ourselves enough of. Don’t sweat the small stuff, you have a life to enjoy.” She continued by expressing gratitude for her “chosen family,” which includes the people she worked with on the Eras Tour, and shared how loved she felt.

This isn’t the first time Gorman has expressed her admiration for Swift. On Swift’s 35th birthday in December 2024, Gorman posted a heartfelt tribute, calling the superstar “a girl whose heart shines through everything and everyone.” She shared how blessed she felt to have a “front row seat” to Swift’s performances and to be part of her spotlight.

In her tribute, Gorman expressed how grateful she was for the love and support Swift shared with her and the rest of the tour team. She concluded her post by wishing Swift a relaxing birthday and acknowledging the hard work she had put in throughout the year.

Beyond these touching moments, Swift has become known for her generosity, especially towards her tour staff. In December 2024, it was revealed that she had given out a total of $197 million in bonuses to everyone working on the Eras Tour, including backup singers, band members, dancers, technicians, and many more. This gesture is a testament to the genuine appreciation she has for her team, as she acknowledges the hard work and dedication that went into the tour’s success.

The Eras Tour, which began in March 2023 and concluded in December 2024, has broken multiple records, grossing a total of $2.08 billion in ticket sales. The tour has not only been a milestone in terms of numbers but has also been an unforgettable experience for everyone involved, including Swift’s crew, who felt her unwavering support every step of the way.
