    County Rescue” Star Keller Fornes Dies at 32, Leaving a Legacy in Film and TV

    The entertainment world is mourning the untimely death of Keller Fornes, the beloved star of the Great American Family Channel’s County Rescue. Fornes passed away on December 19, 2024, in Eastland, Texas, at the age of 32, leaving fans and colleagues heartbroken.

    Known for his multifaceted talents as an actor, writer, director, singer, and musician, Fornes made an indelible mark in the industry. Great American Media expressed their sorrow in a heartfelt Instagram statement: “Keller was a special person and talent. His energy and enthusiasm lifted all he worked with here at Great American Media and the cast and crew of County Rescue. Our prayers are with his family and all those he touched.”

    Born with an undeniable passion for storytelling, Fornes earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of North Texas before moving to Atlanta to pursue his dreams in the film industry. His career blossomed not only in front of the camera but also behind the scenes, where he wrote and produced independent films.

    Fornes achieved fame as Griffin, a key character in the hit series County Rescue. The show, which had garnered a loyal fan base, was gearing up for its second season. His co-stars, including Julia Reilly and Kristin Wollett, shared emotional tributes. Wollett posted a video montage on Instagram captioned, “In our hearts. Always. 🤍 Keller Scott Fornes 🤍.”

    In addition to his artistic achievements, Fornes was an accomplished amateur boxer, earning a gold medal in Georgia’s Golden Gloves competition. His diverse talents and charisma made him a standout in every field he pursued.

    A memorial service honoring Fornes’ life and legacy is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, at Cowboy Church of Erath County in Stephenville, Texas.

    Fornes leaves behind a legacy of creativity, inspiration, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by his fans, friends, and family.
