Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater Enjoy a Stylish Night Out at the National Board of Review Awards
Ariana Grande and her boyfriend Ethan Slater were spotted enjoying a romantic evening together at the National Board of Review Awards Gala on Tuesday, January 7, in New York City. The couple, who met while working together on the Wicked film adaptation, shared a sweet moment, embracing each other for a photo at the event.
Grande, 31, looked stunning in a custom Loewe pastel pink backless satin gown. The dress featured a square-shaped bodice that cinched at her waist and a structured sheath design that elegantly floated above her white rounded-toe pumps. She accessorized with a matching pink satin shawl and completed her look with a sleek high ponytail, baby bangs, and makeup that matched her vibrant dress, including shimmery pink eyeshadow and dark mauve lip gloss. Her jewelry choices included diamond stud earrings, a diamond choker necklace, and two diamond rings, one of which was pink. Slater, 32, complemented her ensemble with a classic black satin woven suit and a white dress shirt.
The event was a celebration of the Wicked film’s achievements, with Grande starring as Glinda the Good Witch and Slater playing Boq. The movie, directed by Jon M. Chu, was named the best film of 2024 by the National Board of Review, and Chu was also honored as the best director. Other Wicked stars, including Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh, also attended the gala.
Grande and Slater, who began their relationship in 2023 after both separated from their previous partners, have kept a relatively low public profile but have supported each other throughout Wicked‘s press tour. They were also featured in a heartwarming New Year’s Eve Instagram post, sharing a blurry photo of the couple with Jeff Goldblum in the foreground. Wicked is now playing in theaters.
