Centralia, Illinois, December 27, 2018. Buchheit of Centralia raised $1697.50 for the Centralia Humane Society. Customers of each Buchheit store raised funds for the Pet Pantry promotion by purchasing donation cards at the registers. The money raised goes toward buying dog and cat food and shelter maintenance supplies. Buchheit donated a total of $4,370.48 to local animal shelters that help rescue dogs and cats. It is essential to the Buchheit family that they give back to the communities which have supported them over the past 84 years of operation.
