Genealogy class to be offered at KC Salem Education Center
The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will offer a “Genealogy” class at the Salem Education Center. The class will be Monday, October 5, 12 and19, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and the registration number is COED-5441-SA01D.
Students will learn the basics of genealogy in this introductory course. This course teaches you to structure your research and study various sources of genealogical information – census records, courthouse records, cemetery records, family papers, library sources, and more. Cost is $40.00.
Please note Kaskaskia College will continue to enforce social distancing and safety guidelines established by the Illinois Community College Board and the state’s Restore Illinois program through the fall semester. This includes wearing a mask indoors, proper hand sanitizing, and visitors completing the College’s prescreening tool available on the KC Connect Mobile App or at www.kaskaskia.edu.
