Former CORLHS Students Sign with CollegesAmanda Geiger, former Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School student, has been offered a full academic/ athletic scholarship to play NCAA Division II volleyball at McKendree University beginning in the fall of 2014. Miss Geiger is currently a senior at Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball, Texas, McKendree’s coach, Lisa Orlet, noted, “Amanda is a terminator on the outside. She has strong blocking skills as well. She has shown she is mentally tough and has a well-rounded game. I really believe Amanda will share her strong discipline with her new teammates.”

Amanda spent her first three years of high school at Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School before her family was transferred to Houston, Texas, in the fall of 2013. While at Christ Our Rock, Amanda played volleyball, basketball, and softball. She played club volleyball for Topspin Volleyball Club out of Effingham, and played AAU basketball for the Jets out of Belleville. Amanda is the daughter of Timothy R and Barbara K Geiger of Tomball, Texas.

Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School senior Jani Goodin of Carlyle has signed with Lindenwood University in Belleville for a four-year scholarship to play basketball.
