Politically Speaking December-25-2019
I said last week to get ready for a bumpy ride on Wednesday, December 18, and unfortunately it held true. I was hoping and praying the Democrats would come to their senses. And so it came to pass they didn’t and the final vote was to impeach a man that loves America… a man that’s gotten more done than any President in 30 plus years…a man that has had to fight from before day one of his Presidency…a man that has had to deal with nothing more than a witch hunt from the Democrats from day one.
And Wednesday, December 18, 2019 will be a day that the Democratic party lost all credibility with the majority of this country, not just with Republicans, Independents and Libertarians, but also with many Democrats as well!
President Trump was impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The final vote on articles of impeachment of Trump approved by the House was 229 to 198.
Voting nearly along party lines, the two articles above were approved after a bitter debate, making him the third President in history to face removal by the Senate. Only two Democrats opposed the article on abuse of power. On the second charge, obstruction of Congress, a third Democrat joined Republicans in opposition.
The insanity of the trumped up charges set the stage for a historic trial possibly beginning early next year in the Senate, only ten months before our President faces reelection.
Acquittal in the Republican controlled Chamber, the removal process is certain to die a quick and legitimate death.
On Wednesday the Democrats characterized his impeachment as an urgent action to stop a corrupt President.
Adam (Shifty) Schiff did say “The danger persists. The risk is real. Our democracy is at peril” at the hands of Trump. To that, ladies and gentlemen, I agree. Our democracy is at peril, not by the danger of our President but by the new Democratic Party.
Donald Trump did answer the House charges in a six-page letter he wrote to Nancy Pelosi on December 17 — which I totally agree with 100% — saying, “You are the ones interfering in America’s elections. You are the ones subverting America’s Democracy. You are the ones Obstructing Justice. You are the ones bringing pain and suffering to our Republic for your own selfish personal, political, and partisan gain.”
He continued to say, “If you truly cared about freedom and liberty for our Nation, then you would be devoting your vast investigative resources to exposing the full truth concerning the FBI’s horrifying abuses of power before, during, and after the 2016 election — including the use of spies against my campaign, the submission of false evidence to a FISA court, and the concealment of exculpatory evidence in order to frame the innocent.
The FBI has great and honorable people, but the leadership was inept and corrupt. I would think that you would personally be appalled by these revelations, because in your press conference the day you announced impeachment, you tied the impeachment effort directly to the completely discredited Russia Hoax, declaring twice that “all roads lead to Putin,” when you know that is an abject lie. I have been far tougher on Russia than President Obama ever even thought to be.
“After three years of unfair and unwarranted investigations, 45 million dollars spent, 18 angry Democrat prosecutors, the entire force of the FBI, headed by leadership now proven to be totally incompetent and corrupt, you have found NOTHING!”
As of Thursday morning our lines have been jammed as well as my cell phone with those voicing their opinion — many of them Democrats — NOT ONE saying what happened is okay. In fact, just the opposite.
One such email was, referring to the House vote, there’s not a good one in the bunch. I predict he will win by a landslide and the Republicans will regain the House and keep the Senate.
And to that I agree!
I’ll close by saying before the impeachment hoax, it was the Russian witch hunt. Against all evidence, and regardless of the truth, the Democrats and their deputies forced our nation through turmoil and assaulted our democracy.
And agreeing with the email above, I’ll be shocked if our President doesn’t carry 60% of the Presidential vote in 2020.
Until next week, allow us to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
God bless our country and our President.
