YouthBuild of South Central Illinois now enrolling
MT. VERNON, IL – Applications for the next cohort of participants in the YouthBuild program are due May 31st. Interviews will begin on June 3rd.
YouthBuild of South Central Illinois is for young adults who are in need of a certificate High School Equivalency (HSE/ GED) and are between the ages of 16 and 24 years old.
Community Involvement, Leadership Development, Team Building, Certifications in: Food Service Sanitation, Forklift Training, Pre-apprenticeship; Stipends for Attendance, High School Equivalency or General Education Development Class (HSE or GED), College Education Exploration, Mental Health Services, Job Readiness Training, Employment As- sistance, and Career Training in Construction and Hospitality.
Current locations are 107 Shiloh Dr. in Mt. Vernon and 200 S. Pine in Centralia. You can find an application by going to sperofs.org, stopping by one of the offices, or by calling 242-6723 or 533-5288.
