You’re Invited To Step Back In Time To 1963
This Saturday Night You’re Invited To Step Back In Time To 1963
This Saturday night you’re invited to step back in time to 1963. The community organization Band Aide, Inc. will transform the Centralia Elks into a 1963 Nite Club for their annual fundraiser dance.
The house band for the nite club will be Alan & Ian Presswood & Friends, who will be performing dance music from all different eras, but the 1963 nite club also have famous visitors (tribute artists) like Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Cher, Patsy Cline and more, who during the evening, will be enticed to sing their favorite songs.
If you choose, come dressed as your favorite celebrity from the early 1960’s, or just wear clothes from 1963. For advanced tickets or to receive a table to the fun Saturday night event, contact Bob 322-0944, Pam 731-5457 or John 918-0616. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door or reserve your nite club table with eight tickets for $80.00. Doors open upstairs at the Centralia Elks this Saturday at 7:00, with dancing from 8:00 to midnight.
Also, there will be silent auction items like Cardinals tickets, dinners and an entertainment trip to Chicago. Since Band Aide, Inc. was founded in 2012, they have given over $4,500 to help those in need.
Band Aide is a community organization created to be an “extra helping hand” to individuals in the area when tragedy strikes. As the name implies, music events will be used to provide funding.
