Welcome to Mob Stirs

Last Saturday night the Centralia Elks Club became the 1963 Nite Club “Mob Stirs .” It was a packed house for the annual themed fund – raising dance for the local organization Band Aide, who uses music to raise funds to help those who have suffered a “tragic event.”

With the early 1960’s setting, the mob themed nite club included singing artists portraying Frank Sinatra (hence the mob connection), Elvis, Cher, Patsy Kline, Etta James and others. Many visitors to the nite club wore 1960’s period clothing. The fun night included cigarette girls, a silent auction, and a great nite club house band Alan and Ian Presswood & Friends.
