Upcoming events at the C.E. Brehm Memorial Public Library

THE LIFE OF LINCOLN

On Feb. 20th, at 6:30PM Lincoln impersonator David Wolfe will present a program on Lincoln. You will hear the tale of the Life of Lincoln from the man himself. You will hear about Lincoln’s adventures in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois, as well as the rough times he had in White house.

GAME DAY AT THE LIBRARY

There will be a GAME DAY at the library on February 22nd from 11AM to 3PM. There will be board games, card games, miniatures games, and role-playing games. Children are welcomed if accompanied by an adult.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT

February 28th
Kids must be accompanied by an adult and adults must be accompanied by a kid. Because of the licensing agreement, they can’t advertise what movies we will be showing, so call them at 242-6322 to find out the titles. Free popcorn and bottled water. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Movie starts at 7 PM.

MARDI GRAS AT THE LIBRARY

March 1st, 11AM to 3 PM. Come and celebrate Mardi Gras at the Library. There will be Red beans-and-rice samples starting at Noon. Starting at 1PM will be Dixieland Jazz by Tom Baker’s Mardi Gras Band. Free Masks for the first 50 to attend. Free beads until they run out.
