C. ED TRAYLOR: MY CAREER WITH THE STATE POLICE AND MY NEW NOVEL “THE CROSSING”
On May 25th, at 6:30 PM, C. Ed Traylor will talk about his career with the State Police, and about his new novel “The Crossing”. Traylor retired from the Illinois State Police with the rank of captain after 29 years of service. During that time, he served as patrolman, investigator, investigative supervisor, bureau chief, and staff officer. His novel “The Crossing”, which describes a planned terrorist attack on some of America’s most cherished tourist sites, earned second place at the recent Public Safety Writers Association conference.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
May 26th. Kids must be accompanied by an adult; adults must be accompanied by a kid. Because of the licensing agreement, we can’t advertise what movies we will be showing. So call us at 242-6322 to find out the titles. Free popcorn and bottled water will be offered. Doors open at 6:30 PM; the movie starts at 7PM.

GAME DAY AT THE LIBRARY
May 27th. Game Days at the library are from 11 AM to 3 PM. There will be board games, card games, miniatures games, and role-playing games. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
