Okawville Community Club members Debbie Frederking and Judy Hevner have organized the “Okawville Face Mask Factory.” Beginning March 30 and continuing through April 15 the group made over 500 face masks that they donated to Murray Center. Volunteers met at the Community Club to sew the masks, or worked on them at home. They gave the finished masks to State Representative Charlie Meier who then delivered them to Murray Parents’ Association President Rita Winkeler. The masks are now being used by staff and residents at Murray Center.
