North Egyptian Quail Forever Youth Pollinator Event

Date: Friday December 8th, 2017
Location: Sandoval Colonial Golf Course (3449 Old 51 Road  Sandoval, IL 62882)
Time: Students will be arriving at 8:15-8:30 am. Partners, chapter members, and assistants should arrive by 7:45-8am. Event should begin around 8:45-9am and last until 12pm.
Partners: Sandoval 6th grade, Sandoval HS FFA, Sandoval Colonial Golf Course, North Egyptian Quail Forever chapter, IL Quail Forever staff,  U of I Ag Extension Marion County
68 students will be present and will be divided into 4 rotational groups.
There will be 4 educational stations (Approximately 20-25 minutes per station)
2 pollinator educations by the U of I Ag extension office for Marion County.
1 Predator-Prey educational game with Pheasants/Quail Forever Outreach Coordinator
1 Pollinator Seeding station alongside hole #4. QF Biologist/Chapter Members
After the rotation is complete there will be a bird dog demonstration pointing Quail. Chosen students will be allowed to flush the birds.
Once activities conclude, there will be a group picture with the Habitat sign purchased by the chapter. Students and teachers have been supplied with blaze orange QF logo shirts for he event and media pictures.
Heather (Course Manager) will be supplying lunch for everyone once activities conclude around 11 a.m.
