Local Author Begins Third Book
By Cathy Stuehmeier
A local author is starting on her third book. It’s with enthusiasm and pleasure I write this story about a very special and talented lady, a dear friend of mine, Ruth Ann Friend. I don’t remember when or where I met Ruth Ann for the first time; I know it was decades ago when we were both quite young. For a brief time, I had the pleasure of working with her at a local radio station, and I knew from early on she was deeply spiritual and interesting, as well as talented, and over the years she has certainly proved me right.
Ruth Ann held a book signing at the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis last week on April 19 for her current books.
Under the Rainbow Crossing is a captivating story of the haunting of a heartland home and the spiritual journey that followed, all based on actual experiences. It’s a must read and leaves you wondering and questioning some experiences you personally might have had.
What if you began to hear muffled voices, music playing and strange noises, the rattle of dishes and other objects being moved around? What if you began to smell strong fragrances of perfume, flowers, smoke, coffee, bacon and eggs while you were all alone in the house?
The most likely thought you might have is that your house is haunted, but that would really not be the case in the long run. As Ruth Ann continues in Under the Rainbow Crossing, she points out, “I would find out much more was going on than I could ever have imagined.”
Discover the truth for yourself. Ruth Ann’s second book, The Story of David, is the story of a son’s reincarnation to join his mother for their spiritual work. It’s also a must read, especially if you’ve lost a loved one that you considered a soul mate!
