KC to Offer High School Equivalency Courses

Kaskaskia College is pleased to announce that High School Equivalency Exam preparation courses (formally known as GED) will begin in early October. Classes will be held in several locations across the college district. Adult education staff is setting up class locations and contacting students for the upcoming fall classes.

These courses will assist students prepare to pass the High School Equivalency Exam, which will earn them a high school equivalency certificate. The concentrations of study are language arts reading and writing, science, social studies, mathematics and the Constitution test. The class is provided at no tuition cost to the student.
