Kaskaskia College Ranked #2
Kaskaskia College is proud to announce that once again they have been ranked #2 in the state for Illinois Community Colleges in a yearly study completed by Wallet Hub. Each community college is rated on three criteria which determines their final ranking. These criteria are cost, educational outcomes, and career outcomes. WalletHub determines school rankings based on metrics including cost of tuition and fees, amount of scholarships students receive, per pupil spending by the college, along with student to faculty ratios, and school spending efficiency. Additionally the rates associated with retention, graduation, and transfer are factored in. Kaskaskia College is continually known for quality education and student success.
KC President George Evans said the ranking reflects Kaskaskia College’s standard of excellence. “Wallet Hub’s findings demonstrate the commitment of our faculty and staff, combined with the support of our board of trustees to provide a high quality learning environment that enables students to achieve their career goals. At Kaskaskia College we believe that ‘Every Student Matters’ and Wallet Hub’s findings reinforce that we are providing resources and opportunities for students to pursue a pathway to their success.”
