JCHS Bicentennial Photo contest winners
The Jefferson County Historical Society awarded prizes to the winners of the Bicentennial Photo Contest on Aaugust 10 at the Historical Village. All photos were taken in Jefferson County. The grand-prize winner was Marty Cox for his photo “Tree Growing out of the Silo” in the “Scenic” category. Marty Cox also won in the “Monuments and Cemetery” category and the “Buildings and Establishments” category.
Other winners were Joshua Myers in the “Art” category, Ryan Stanford in the “Patriotic” category, and Janice Senftleber in the “Jefferson County Historical Village” category.
The awards were presented by Sharon Francois, Vice-President of the JCHS. Betty Wells, mother of Janice Senftleber, accepted the award on behalf of Senftleber.
All of the entries in the Bicentennial Photo Contest are on display at the Historical Village.
