Heritage Festival At The JCHS Historical Village
Saturday October 7th-8th, 10am to 4pm (both days)
The JCHS will be celebrating the history and tradition of Jefferson County and surrounding areas by giving demonstrations of how things used to be done in the past. The Society has been hosting this event since the early 1990’s. All the buildings and cabins will also be open for tours. Crafts and food will be available for purchase.
This year’s Heritage Festival will feature Craft Demonstrations, Musical Entertainment, a Guided Cemetery Walk, Art projects and activities for Children. A Church Service will be held Sunday morning at 10am. The Long Knives Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will also be represented.
New to the Festival this year is the addition of an Antique Tractor Show provided by Jefferson County Antique Iron. Also new this year, will be the opportunity to see an Alpaca.
