Following the success of Centralia Balloon Fest, the Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce has developed a new event that follows guidelines and restrictions set in place by state and federal agencies.
Marcus Holland, executive director, will host a version of “Let’s Make A Deal” game show on Wednesday, October 28, at 6:00pm. The event will be held outside at Crooked Creek Winery Downtown and will be limited in attendance to 50 people.

“We want to get back to normal a little bit and have a fun after-work event. Of course, it is Halloween season, so the idea of costumes and giveaways matches up for a fun activity!” says Holland.

The bar at Crooked Creek Winery will be open for this private event and Gauchos Argentinian Steakhouse food truck will be on-site for attendees to purchase food.

“Just like the tv show, costumes are encouraged! The first several contestants will be chosen from the best costumed attendees. When selected, the contestant can choose to take the ramdomly selected prize, or can make a deal for the potential of a better prize,” explains Holland.

Due to the limited attendance, RSVP is required with the Centralia Chamber office. It is $20 per person and each person will play the game to win a prize valued at $20 or greater. However, you do not to be in attendance to win.

“We understand that it is difficult to know what will happen next week or even tomorrow. Plans are changed or cancelled and it is out of control of the person. We want everyone to feel comfortable to play a game, win some prizes, and stay socially distant if they would like,” adds Holland.

Prizes have been donated by the following businesses: 618 Sports Academy, A & B Outdoor Equipment, Bayer Crop Science, Best Western Plus Hotels and Suites, Caddyshack, Centralia Balloon Fest, Centralia Elks Lodge, Centralia High School, Centralia Manor / Centralia Estates, Centralia Recreation Complex, Country Bob’s, Crooked Creek Animal Hospital, Depew and Owen Builders, E.
