CPR Course Offered At The KC Main Campus
Would you know what to do if one of your co-workers, friends, or family members was choking or suddenly collapsed? This could be a life or death situation that requires knowledge and skill to possibly save their life. These skills can be learned in just a few hours’ time with The American Heart Association CPR course. This course is also very beneficial to babysitters, new parents, teachers, community groups or anyone who wants to know how to react in a critical situation.
This class will be held Friday, July 26, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Kaskaskia College Main Campus. You can sign up for this 0.5 credit hour course, PARM 111, at the Admissions Office on the Main Campus at 618-545-3040.
“If the date and time does not fit your schedule, we are willing to work with you,” said Lucinda Spencer, KC’s AHA Training Center Faculty and Paramedicine Coordinator. “Just e-mail me with a time that would be better. If you have a group of 8 or more, I am willing to come to your location at a date and time that you prefer to do this class. Please help me increase the number of CPR providers in our area!”
