Queen Bees Class Offered Throughout KC District

The Kaskaskia College Department of Industrial and Continuing Education will hold a “Queen Bees” class throughout the KC District in February.  The course will be live at the KC Vandalia Campus and shown simultaneously at the Nashville, Salem and Trenton Education Centers.

This class will be held Monday, August 21, 2017 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.  This is the third in the series of Beekeeping classes.  This class will teach students how to properly raise and care for Queen Bees in their hives.  Healthy queens are necessary to grow the population and maintain a productive and functioning hive.  This course will teach keepers how to properly rear a prolific, quality queen.   Course fee is $17.00.

Students may register for this class through the Department of Industrial and Continuing Education at Kaskaskia College at 545-3255.  Space is limited, so please register early.  All students must pre-register for this class.
