Kristina Rickhoff Hired as Assistant Professor in Health Information Technology Program

Kaskaskia College is pleased to announce that Kristina Rickhoff of Bartelso has been hired as the new Assistant Professor for the Health Information Technology Program.

Ms. Rickhoff has served as an adjunct faculty member for the College for five years and has worked in the healthcare revenue and billing industry for over 20 years holding increasing positions of responsibility. She is adept and experienced in all facets of Medical Records, coding, and Health Information Technology management. She has served with healthcare industry partners locally as well as nationwide while working as a consultant for Culbert Healthcare Solutions. Her knowledge of current guidelines, curriculum, and accreditation standards make her an excellent candidate to join Kaskaskia College and lead our new program.

KC President George Evans says, “We are very excited to add Kris’s vast knowledge and wealth of experience to this program, and are looking forward to her assistance as we pursue the national certification from AHIMA. I envision great things to come from her and this program.”

Rickhoff says, “I am thrilled to be part of Kaskaskia College, leading the new Health Information Technology program. My entire career has been spent in the field and I look forward to sharing my experiences and preparing students for the future.”
