The KC Theatre Guild productions for the fall and spring have been set! There will be a special free performance of the KC Theatre Guild fall production for high school students. And in the spring there will be four special free performances of our children’s theatre production for grade school students.

The Fall Play will be the classic comedy Arsenic and Old Lace. The special free performance for high schools will be Thursday, November 19 at 9:30 a.m. Please contact Theatre Professor David Quinn for reservations for this performance by emailing dquinn@kaskaskia.edu.

The performances of Arsenic and Old Lace for the public will be Friday and Saturday, November 20 and 21 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 22 at 2:00 p.m. Reservations are not needed for the weekend free performances.

The spring show will be the ninth in a row chosen for young students and families. The past eight springs included Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Genie in the Wishing Well, Pirates to the Rescue, Through the Pages, Cinderella, and We Must Save the Princess!

The spring show title will be announced soon but the dates are set and Professor David Quinn can be contacted to make your reservations. Many schools were turned away last year due to available seats, so you may email now to make reservations. The special free performances for grade school students will be Wednesday and Thursday, April 20 and 21 at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

The performances of the spring show for the public will be Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. You do not need to make reservations for the weekend free performances.
