KC Offers Business Class with Flexible Schedules

February 26, 2015
Want a degree but, lack the time for traditional classes with work and family? The Kaskaskia College Business Program has the answer with online/hybrid classes that fit your schedule. Kaskaskia College will be offering Human ResourceManagement (BUSN 218) and Small Business Management (BUSN 215). These classes start March 16, 2015 and will meet 4 times face-to-face and 4 times online.

The Small Business Management course would benefit anyone wishing to start a business. The Human Resource Management is an excellent course to help a business train and develop its workforce. Both of these classes are part of our
Business Management Degree or Supervisory Certification.

Our Business Management Degree and Supervisory Certificate are excellent at providing students with the skills and knowledge needed in today’s changing work environment. Our program concentrates on critical decision making, work ethics, leadership and team building skills. We help students develop the skills used in the real world of Business.

Money magazine ranked Business in the top 100 jobs and Illinois has the 4th highest employment level in business. Professor Tim March, who will be conducting the classes, said “Many experts agree that the key to a great business is their employees. Today’s supervisors are less authoritative and more of a team facilitator or coach. By improving your leadership skills you can enhance your employees’ performance and become a ‘Great Company’.” Remember our on-line courses have the same quality as our traditional classes. Students can be full or part-time allowing them to work at their own pace. Plus, students that live out of district pay the same rate as in-district students for on-line courses.
