All About Bugs and Bees Class Held at KC Main Campus

The Kaskaskia College Kids in College at Kaskaskia “KICK” Program recently held a class entitled All about Bugs and Bees” on the KC Main Campus.  The instructor was Terry Combs.

During the class, students hunted for insects, which were later identified.  Some of the topics covered included insect classification, anatomy, behavior, collection equipment and tools and displaying insect collections.

The Industrial and Continuing Education Department will be offering a Beekeeping series for adults at all locations starting October 1, 2018.
