CUB Faith In Place to host discussion on building Illinois’ clean energy economy
The Citizens Utility Board (CUB) invites Mt. Vernon-area residents to take part in an open discussion about money-saving energy efficiency programs that can cut their utility bills and new state legislation, the Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA) that will help secure clean, affordable energy for all state residents.
CUB will share valuable information on how residents can work toward and benefit from a clean energy economy that helps consumers save money on their utility bills and creates jobs. Audience participation is encouraged. This “Listen. Lead. Share” event, co-hosted by Faith in Place, is 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, CE Brehm Memorial Public Library, 101 S. 7th St, Mt.
