Child ID Program To Be Held During Kiddie Parade
The Centralia Masonic Lodge will host the Illinois Child Identification Program Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the historic Illinois Theater on South Locust Street in Centralia.
The program is sponsored by the Freemasons of Illinois at no cost to the participants. Fingerprints are taken, DNA samples are collected, and a video interview are provided for parents to keep in case of an emergency. Only permission slips are kept by the Masons.
This package of data provides authorities with a head start in finding a missing child.
