Ribbon cutting for Centralia Chamber of Commerce
A ribbon cutting was held for the new offices of the Centralia Chamber of Commerce, 210 East Broadway in downtown Centralia. Building owners Jennifer and Dan Price cut the official ribbon as Chamber staff, board members, ambassadors and business representatives looked on.
Chamber Executive Director Marcus Holland noted that the renovated first floor includes a needed large conference room.
During the renovation, original ornate center columns were found and left exposed. The building is approximately 140 years old and was built for Mayor M.B. Sadler’s clothing store with the third floor becoming Sadler’s Opera House.
Centralia Mayor Herb Williams thanked the owners and the Chamber for renovating and preserving a beautiful, historic downtown Centralia building.
