Regional Superintendent Sworn
Ron Daniels, Regional Superintendent of Schools was sworn in at the Marion County Courthouse on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Superintendent Daniels was elected to the position of the newly consolidated Regional Office for Clinton, Jefferson, Marion and Washington Counties. The Regional Office of Education #13 will serve 58 schools, 22,000 students and over 1300 educators and administrators in the new region.
Superintendent Daniels has an extensive history in education and administration. He served as a science teacher and coach at Raccoon Elementary for three years; Webber Township High School one year; nine years at Casey Middle School; and two years as a principal then two years as a superintendent at Waltonville Unit School District. He has served as the Regional Superintendent for Jefferson and Hamilton Counties for the past four years. Superintendent Daniels is committed to providing quality services and programs for the students, families and communities of the four-county area.
